Trchkan Waterfall is the highest waterfall in Armenia, plunging from a height of 23 meters on the Chichkhan River. It is often called the “Voice of Lori” because of its powerful roar echoing through the canyon. This wild and untouched place is surrounded by dense forests, mountain meadows, and rocky cliffs, creating a paradise for nature lovers. The area is home to rare plants and wildlife, making it a protected natural monument since 2011. In spring and early summer, the waterfall becomes especially powerful from melting snow, and in autumn the colorful forests create a magical backdrop. It’s a favorite spot for hiking, camping, photography, and simply escaping city life for peaceful nature.
